At P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy in Jamaica, we are on a mission to provide transformative opportunities for our young basketball talents. As we gear up for the 2023/2024 season, we are reaching out to our global community for support in making a profound impact on the lives of our athletes. In Jamaica, the absence of a structured club basketball system and a brief high school season of 6-12 games played outdoors limits the exposure and growth of our talented youth. Recognizing this gap, we aim to bridge it by offering our athletes the invaluable chance to compete internationally in the USA.
The opportunity to play in modern indoor facilities against tougher competition and gain exposure to USA college coaches is a game-changer for our athletes. This exposure opens doors to potential scholarships, a life-changing prospect for many coming from low-income families in Jamaica. The cost of travel from Jamaica to the USA is substantial, and that's where we seek your support. Our families, athletes, and academy are united in the belief that these young talents deserve a chance to shine, not only for their benefit but also to uplift their communities.

P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy, led by Technical Director and Head Coach Wayne Dawkins and Director and Coach Dave Black, boasts over 40 athletes in our prep Academy, ages 14-19, and travels with 16U and 19U teams.
This season, our teams will journey to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Atlanta, New York, and Philadelphia, all in preparation for the National Prep Championships in South Carolina in March 2024.
