Do you know a young basketball player with dreams of representing their country on an international stage? The Jamaica U17 Men's Jr. National Basketball Team is calling all aspiring athletes of Jamaican decent to showcase their skills and seize the opportunity of a lifetime. We are excited to announce the upcoming I.D. Camps taking place in the United States and Canada, where selected players will have the chance to join the team and compete in the prestigious Centrobasket U17 Championships in Belize City, Belize from July 24th to July 31st, 2023.
This is a chance to be a part of something extraordinary – representing Jamaica and competing against top-notch talent from across the region. The I.D. Camps will be a platform for talented young players born 2006-2012 to display their abilities, impress the coaching staff, and earn a coveted spot on the national team roster or join our Jamaica U17 Training Cohort.
With intensive training, guidance from experienced coaches, and the opportunity to compete at the highest level, this journey promises to be a transformative experience. The annual Centrobasket U17 Championships will provide a stage where they can showcase your skills, represent Jamaica with pride, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
