The journey begins as P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy proudly hosts Jamaica's very first travel prep basketball season! 🌟 Under the guidance of Coaches Wayne Dawkins and Dave Black, we're about to show the world the incredible talent that resides in the heart of Jamaica. 🏆🔥
Our teams are prepping intensively, not only to compete but to shine on the global stage. As they prepare for the National Prep Championships in the United States this coming February 2024, our players are ready to dazzle college scouts and take the world by storm. 🌏🏀
We've already embarked on our remarkable journey by traveling to Miami, Florida, where we faced off against some fierce competition. The "Showdown in Miami" was our first step in showcasing Jamaican talent. We went toe-to-toe with Miami Prep, ABF Academy, and Keysgate Charter HS, demonstrating our unyielding determination and skill on the court. 🏀🔥
But we're just getting started! The remainder of 2023 holds more exciting destinations:
🗽 Queens, New York: Our journey takes us to Queens, where the JV Boys will have practice matches, intense training sessions, and an exclusive look at New York high school basketball behind the scenes. 🍎🏀
🍑 Atlanta, Georgia: The excitement continues in Atlanta, Georgia, where our Varsity and Post Grad teams will participate in The 2nd Annual BSA Classic Shootout Basketball Tournament. Get ready for some high-energy basketball action! 🏀🍑
🏖️ Tampa Bay, Florida: The action doesn't stop! We're heading to Tampa Bay, Florida, for the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus 2nd Annual Holiday Tournament. It's another chance for our Varsity and Post Grad players to demonstrate their exceptional skills on the court. 🌞🏖️
Upon our return to Jamaica, we're all set to host the P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy Rising Stars Christmas Camp. Young ballers from Jamaica and around the world, aged 13-17, will come together at Montego Bay Community College for a holiday training experience like no other. 🌠🏀
Our players train in regional pods in Kingston and Montego Bay, uniting at the P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy National Training Center at GC Foster College and Montego Bay Community College to prepare for their upcoming competitions. 🏟️
Our teams include the Post Grad Team for high school graduates seeking advanced basketball development, the Varsity Team made up of top U17 school players, and the JV Boys Team, a talented group of young U16 rising stars from Jamaica and Jamaican-descendant players from the United States. 🏀💫
