The Elite 1 Caribbean Professional Basketball League (E1CBL), a rapidly growing professional basketball league based in the Caribbean, kicks off its winter season on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the National Arena in Kingston, Jamaica. The players arrived between Wednesday, January 4, 2023, and Friday, January 6, 2023.
Additionally, the players participated in a media day & team training at the GC Foster College on Thursday, January 5, 2023, and Friday, January 6, 2023.
The season features 4 teams: Elite 1 Wave, Elite 1 Rivers, Elite 1 Storm & Elite 1 Horizon and the first game features a playoff between the Elite 1 Wave vs Elite 1 Waves and Storm vs Horizon. The game schedule is as follows:
