BP1 Basketball Academy 2019 Opening Season

BP1 Academy is open for registration! The inaugural year will feature a boys and girls traveling high school basketball program. IntroductionBlues P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy (BP1) for aspiring elite level high school boys and girls, is a merger of two historic Canadian basketball organizations. An accumulation of over 50 years of youth programming and player development. Both organizations share a family of hundreds of CIS, NCAA, WNBA, NBA, European Pro and National Team alumni who began their early childhood basketball development with the Scarborough Blues and finished their high school careers in one of P.H.A.S.E. 1's elite level training and exposure programs.​BP1 is a scholastic prep program where the educational advancement of our student athletes is the priority. BP1 operates in direct partnership with Bond Academy, an Ontario Ministry of Education accredited K-12 non-denominational private school in Scarborough, Ontario. Scarborough BluesFormed in 1996 as a non-profit organization, the Scarborough Basketball Association (SBA) has a simple game plan to provide youth in and around the Scarborough, Toronto, Pickering, Ajax and Markham area in Ontario with the opportunity to grow and enjoy life through the sport of basketball. Programs offered includes REP Blues and Lady Blues, JUEL and JUEL Prep, Select and House League, Training and Tournaments.

For some, the SBA will be a launching pad for a successful basketball career in college or university. Some may even go on to become professional players, based on the fundamentals that the SBA has helped them develop. However, for most, the SBA and its basketball programs are simply a means of building character, developing friendships and having a whole lot of fun. P.H.A.S.E. 1 P.HA.S.E. 1 brings to BP1 partnership undisputed elite level basketball skill training, athlete development and exposure. P.H.A.S.E. 1's founder Wayne Dawkins is widely recognized as a founding father of modern Canadian basketball. From the early 1990's he pioneered the countries first AAU programs, National Recruitment Camps, National All Star Games, Prep Leagues, Local and International Prep Programs. P.H.A.S.E. 1 has a vast network in the global basketball community and is known world wide for elevating the careers of Canadian and International youth basketball players.

P.H.A.S.E.1's brings years of prep basketball experience to BP1 Academy with an extensive network of coaches, scouts and event organizers from across North America. P.H.A.S.E.1 entered into prep basketball in 2009 as one of Canada's first prep basketball programs operating in partnership with Vaughn Road Academy in Toronto. In 2013 P.HA.S.E. 1 became the first and only Canadian prep basketball academy to operate in United States, when we opened our program in Phoenix, Arizona. The alumni of P.H.A.S.E. 1's Academies includes many NCAA and CIS stars and current professional and national team players. Bond AcademyBond Academy is a private, co-educational, non-denominational independent school with students from Montessori Casa to Grade 12. Bond Academy provides our students with the Ontario Ministry of Education's Curriculum in small classes with high expectations, within an enriched, caring and secure environment. We focus on Academics, and a Healthy Active Living Program, that includes an intramural and aquatics program.  In the 2017 Readers' Choice Winners list by the Scarborough Mirror, Bond Academy was voted as the Best Private School (Diamond).
