P.H.A.S.E.1 Academy Jamaica is hosting a series of basketball identification camps, spanning various locations in Jamaica and select cities in the USA and Canada. This initiative aims to unearth the next generation of hoop stars who possess the passion to harness top-tier training, engage in fierce competition, and bask in the exposure opportunities provided by P.H.A.S.E.1 Academy Jamaica.
Expanding Horizons: From Prep to Professional
P.H.A.S.E.1 Academy has established itself as a trailblazer in Jamaican basketball, recently completing Jamaica's first-ever prep travel season. In the previous summer, the academy proudly represented Jamaica as the country's inaugural AAU Travel basketball team. The athletes, under the guidance of Global Director Wayne Dawkins and Director of P.H.A.S.E.1 Academy Jamaica, Dave Black, showcased their skills in various cities including New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Tampa.
The credibility gained by the club has facilitated smooth visa processes for Jamaican athletes traveling to the United States, a testament to P.H.A.S.E.1 Academy's commitment to fostering global basketball connections.
Leaders in Action: Wayne Dawkins and Dave Black
Wayne Dawkins, serving as the Global Director, also holds the position of Technical Director and Head Coach of the U17 Jamaica National Team. Alongside him is Dave Black, the Director of P.H.A.S.E.1 Academy Jamaica and Assistant Coach of the U17 Jamaica National Team. Their combined expertise ensures a holistic and top-notch basketball experience for aspiring athletes.

Athletes chosen to be part of P.H.A.S.E.1 Academy will embark on a journey of high-level training and development throughout the year. They'll have the chance to represent P.H.A.S.E.1 Academy in travel teams, gaining exposure and competing on various platforms.
